How about because the law enforcement offices are fighting over who should actually be doing the oh so terribly hard work involved in typing up information on violent offenders. I know I mentioned Bruce’s coverage the other day, but now he’s back with more coverage of the dumbass moves by Mass to avoid any and work while NH finally fights back.

Reasons you should miss Mass- Higher Education, Higher Education, and more higher Education… skiing in Vermont, the lake house in Maine, and of course… THE BERKSHIRES!

If it’s like here, where at least they don’t waste time on gun laws… it’s a modern system with input from 20 years ago.
Meaning… the court system is computerized. But after a warrant is issued, someone has to print it out and fax it to the police. They in turn then hand-input the data into their system. And every now and then have to doublecheck to ensure the warrant hasn’t been quashed by the court.
Why not just make a direct electronic link between the court file and the law enforcement list? Naaaah, that’d be too easy….
