Welcome to the Anti-Gun Mindset

April6

How far is far enough? Well, in Colorado, they don’t want a memorial to a fallen soldier because he has a gun. A piece of solid metal cast in the shape of a gun on a Navy SEAL is too much for these people. They want it banned and they are willing to hijack the memorial to a hero to make their political statement.

Just wanted to raise your blood pressure before your weekend plans. Enjoy!

“Welcome to the Anti-Gun Mindset”

Making distinctions between the statue of a soldier with a weapon and a gangsta with an illegal gun is only taxing for our brethren on the left. Similarly, they ignore the data that states that allowed concealed carry permits saw an average reduction in violent crime of 8 percent, that guns are used 3.2 million times a year to thwart crimes (cf., John Lott and Gary Kleck)…the list is endless but facts only confuse them.

In the course of one generation we’ve inverted common sense and the morality that informed it such that we can’t get our elected officials to proscribe the barbaric practice of murdering an 8 month old fetus, but we pass out condoms in high school like candy.

Paradoxes abound and they are socially and morally noxious.

Pardon my pickiness. There is no such thing as an “illegal gun.” This is fantasy the gun grabbers want us to buy into. Don’t. Some people in our country can have their right to own arms limited based on due process, anything else is unconstitutional. That is what the 2nd Amendment actually says.

And yeah, we’re in that awkward time (as Claire Wolfe puts it) “It’s too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards.”
