I might have to join in this fiasco to piss off Senators who don’t want to listen to their constituents. I love angry Hill workers.
THEY’RE GETTING KIND OF TESTY in Trent Lott’s office: “A hostile woman answered and told me that my opinions were ‘my prerogative’ and hung up on me without further adieu—-I did not get a ‘thank you’ or a ‘good-bye.’”
They’re sounding kind of irritated in Jim Webb’s office, too, though it’s not clear how he’ll vote.
The leaders of Incumbistan would rather not even have to answer the phone. Unless, you know, it’s somebody offering them money who’s calling.

Coming from California I’m way-too familiar with “representatives” who only represent their own self interests and hot-flash feelings, and who projects (her) fears onto the rest of us – but now everybody across the country can can experience just what that kind of indifferent recklessness is like. Amnesty.
