Ok maybe something these mothers don’t see is what they are going to do to the economy once the change take place. There will be driver shortages because drives won’t like the new rules. This means the product won’t get to its location as fast because the driver will have to take more time, and so than prices of our products go up.
For one I am a mother and I am a wife. I value life just as much as anyone else. but look at what can come from all this.
Look at what you will make happen in our future.
Less drivers to move product,
Customers will pay more to get product shipped to them, so than prices for “us” will go up as well.

Gee think..
It’s not really the laws that need changed they just need to be inforced more by police officals and staff of that nature and the trucking companies as well.
All you are doing is making it harder and more costly for you to have food or other things you may want as prices will go up.

Here, they were opposing a plan to have taxis available at cheap rates on new year’s eve, to take people home … because while that would reduce drunk driving, it might encourage people to drink because they wouldn’t have to worry about driving while drunk!

Look at their latest creation MATT (mothers against tired truckers).
they lobby congress for changes in the Hours Of Service (HOS) regs but all based on junk science from researchers who fall asleep driving home at night, if they even drive!……..
they are power hungry bitches, and not the good kind like ya’ll!

$100 of free alcohol, huh? They have a captive audience and the only bar. Somehow I don’t think the cocktails and shots of whiskey come cheap. It’s fairly likely that $100 will barely buy two people a buzz.

That being said, it’s none of MADD’s business. MADD’s mission is specific only to drunk drivers. If all of a sudden all drunks concern them, they should just rename themselves the Christian Women’s Temperance Union and get it over with.

Ten years ago (or so) a few of us made up DAMM shirts borrowing the MADD logo you see on bumper stickers. Let’s just say that shirt generated some very one-sided conversations from more than a couple of those “mad mothers.” Some people just have no sense of humor.

No charity/nonprofit ever goes away after their goals are accomplished. MADD accomplished their worthy goals a decade ago and have now become the new prohibitionists instead of folding as they should have. Their new cause is the reinstatement of the 18th amendment (abolish the 21st?).

Its the same as the anti-gun argument. They believe that the mere availability of alcohol leads to drunken driving. Just like gun grabbers believe the availability of legal firearms leads to gun crime.
