Virginia is Done
I saw somewhere the other day that the Democrat running for John Warner’s seat is polling at least 30 points above any Republican that intends to run.
However, tonight was the final straw for me. Janet Oleszek who is running for state Senate didn’t pull any punches when she put out a very anti-gun commercial. She is attacking her opponent for supporting private sales (in other words, my mom doesn’t need to call the FBI to give me a gun) and allowing state licensed adults to defend themselves on a college campus and in non-secure areas of airports. In Virginia. She’s comfortable announcing to Virginia residents that they shouldn’t be able to sell a gun to their gun club buddy that they’ve been shooting with for 20 years.
When that’s accepted, we’re done. It’s a downhill slide from there.
UPDATE: Ravenwood “sometimes share[s] [my] distress.” And to answer his question about what a girl is to do, it’s easy. Make plans to move to Pennsylvania by June 16, 2008. Once arrived, start talking about the beauty and benefits of Arizona. Every day if necessary.

Have you seen the ad’s Tom Davis’s (RINO-VA) wife is running against Chap Peterson, a Democrat??
Its almost the exact same ad that Janet Oleszek is running against Cuccinelli.
Dam them both – Oleszek and Jeanmarie Devolites-Davis.
I’ve given my money and support to two people in the State senate race this fall – Ken Cuccinelli (R-Centerville) and Chap Peterson (D-Fairfax)
I haven’t seen the Oleszek ad, but I’ve seen the RINO’s add many times. If I were Kim Du Toit, I’d be on about my fifth television by this point.

The ad I heard about was a Democrat Party ad against pro-gun Republican Senator Ken Cuccinelli. It said “Ken Cuccinelli voted to allow criminals to buy guns at gun shows” or some such nonsense.
Democrats must really be dumb if they believe the state senate drafted and voted on a bill that said criminals are allowed to buy guns.
