Well, I guess fans of specialty beers, wine lovers, and those who like to save money on otherwise crap beer can now rejoice next time you have tickets to the big game. (I’m looking at you, Ravenwood.) Papa Bert brings you the Sippin’ Seat. It’s a seat cushion with the middle cut out and a bag inserted so you can store 3 cans of beer or an entire bottle of wine inside and fill up your cup.

It’s either brilliant or disturbing.

Alciblades is spot on. Usually by the time the game rolls around (noon for college football) I’m pretty well buzzed. And there’s always the three beer chug before you walk through the gates.

For the 3:30 and later games the tailgate is quite sufficient. The last one found me doing keg stands.

Welcome to Bitchin in the Kitchen. We know how all the good gossip, family recipes, and traditions are passed on in the kitchen. This is now a virtual kitchen where you’ll find contributors sharing recipes, ideas, complaints, compliments, and any other random thoughts.

Bitter – I am not really a foodie, I just play one on the internet. I’m not the world’s most adventurous eater, but I do enjoy cooking. Until I found other food blogs and discovered that I take far more shortcuts. Oops. Then I decided that doesn’t bother me because I’m a real person and, as much as I generally like cooking, I don’t want to spend my life in the kitchen. (I might feel differently if the stove weren’t 10 years older than I am.)

Granny – While not a pro in the kitchen, my Oklahoma farm girl upbringing gave me plenty of opportunity to test my cooking skills. I love to cook although I don’t do as much of it as it as I once did; however, when I am having people over, I can create a spread! Most of my cooking is of the southern down home variety as I seldom get into the fancy dishes Lots of good times can be had sitting around the dining table with good food and family and friends!

Michael – My Southern wife actually tries to keep this Yankee Boy out of the kitchen. But she can’t slow down the strong Italian heritage and my taste for good cooking and better eating. If it comes from an animal, its ok with me. Pork, beef, bacon, veal, ham, eggs, and the appropriate sauces are all tops. A friend of PETA I am not. But don’t worry, cause I can also whip up a delicious meat free desert of sweet heavenly delight and serve it with just the right amount of snark too!
