A Written Test for Rights?

June26

DC Embraces Jim Crow!

Welcome back to the future, folks.

It’s time for Congress to step in, tell DC officials to f*ck off, and set the District’s gun laws.  Why?

Registrants also will be finger-printed and required to pass a written test to be sure they understand the city’s gun laws, Nickles said.

Let’s think of the last time tests were implemented to keep people from exercising a right.

I’d be interested to see how many people, randomly pulled off the street, could pass an easy test on federal/state/local gun laws. My guess is nearly 1% of the adult population. Max.

Those two restrictions/requirements ALREADY apply to people purchasing long guns in DC.

I know, I’ve taken the test.

And the test IS about DC gun laws; there is not a single safety related question.

Did these idiot politicians have to take a test in order to run for office before they could start effing up our rights?
