- My family has another NRA member now. No, it’s not my just-born niece. My grandmother was signed up. My mother signed her up – with permission – so she can attend next year’s annual meeting.
- However, we do need to do something about my niece. Speaking of, I believe my nephew’s has lapsed. Bitchy Mom, can we do something about that?
- Watch out for an interview with NRA’s General Ops staff. I took notes, talked to them for about 45 minutes, and will report fully. It may take me a day or so because I have like bagillion emails to respond to thanks to the fact that everyone else on the email chain was firing off one-line responses to issues where I have much more thought to add. By the time I finish doing that, I want to fully explain the interview, what I took from it both good and bad, where I see their new media outreach going, and what I see as options for success for them. I’m not completely a bitch, contrary to what lower staff believes and tells folks. They just don’t know how much background I have to offer and that it’s much move involved than their experience. This was news to their boss.
- I need to go to the grocery store. I need food around the house for my man. And me. I’m pretty hungry since I’ve only had a single serving of steamed peas.
