Throwing our Support Behind McCain/Palin
Today both Bitchy Mom and I made donations to the McCain/Palin campaign.
She also ordered her own yard sign and buttons – one for her and one for my grandmother. For the record, my grandmother is another former Hillary supporter who will crossover and vote McCain.
Sebastian made his donation yesterday.
If you haven’t done so and want to give directly to the campaign of Sarah Palin for VP, you must donate today. You can’t put it off.
Oh, and today is also Bitchy Mom’s birthday, so consider it a gift to her.
For those of you who are still sitting on the fence, mumbling because while you like Palin, you want her at the top of the ticket – stop right now. Seriously, I’ve made the conversion and I’ve been a huge critic of McCain since I was in junior high school. I’m not in love with quite a few of his positions. However, I am concerned about what a true leftist like Obama could do. More importantly, a pick like Palin can’t get to the top of the ticket any other way. By getting John McCain elected now, you can help pave the road that will (hopefully) lead to her own run at the top of the ticket in a few years. If you want Palin, or someone like her, at the top of your ticket in the future, invest in her now.
No obviously related posts.

Put in a contribution last night.
Early days yet, but so far I have only seen one thing about Palin that seems at all bothersome – and not much at that.
The “No foreign policy experience” thing should be risible. From commercial-fishing knowledge about and probably interaction with Russia and Japan, then in politics mineral and other trade with those and Canada (not to mention the lower 48), she has a more personal and close-up experience than either of the Ds. Maybe not as wide, but deeper.
And to the “Green” types: she is not Green, but green – no caps, much as was one T. Roosevelt.
HIllary doesn’t support Palin or McCain nor do Hillary and Palin and McCain have any of the same views, not even close. Hillary supports Obama. Why would you switch over to someone who’s completely different on issues, which must be different from your own since you were Hillary supporters before? Because she’s a woman? That’s exactly why the GOP picked her (McCain had only met her once before), only for votes from those who think she’s a Hillary incarnate, which she is far far from.
Take a look around. No where have I ever supported Hillary or Obama on the issues. Honestly, get a f*cking clue before you comment. Show signs of a brain. You’re one reason I would never jump to the dark side.
Post the disrespectful treatment of Geraldine Ferraro, Hillary Clinton and husband Bill….calling them racists after all the years of loyal support, they may say (for the party edification) that they support Obama, BUT the vote is private!!! No way will they go in that booth and pull the leaver for the man who enoyed sliming them all!!!! Obama and his campaign attempted and almost succeeded in the case of Geraldine Ferraro (who got multiple death threats) the destruction as to call.
