Welcome to the Keystone State

November2

In addition to all of our neighborhood signs being ripped up by canvassers we have now heard came from various cities courtesy of MoveOn, all Republican signs along one of the major roadways here were not only ripped up, but shredded with a knife.

Here’s what I don’t understand.  Do these people honestly believe it helps their candidates to show up the weekend before an election and destroy people’s property?  I saw those signs, and I wanted to vote for those folks even more because I REFUSE to tolerate Chicago-style politics in my neighborhood.

For every sign they ripped and cut, I knocked on at least one door today.  For every sign they ripped and cut, I called at least two people.

For every sign they rip and cut tonight, I will knock on at least two doors tomorrow.  For every sign they rip and cut tonight, I will call at least four people tomorrow.

I will not tolerate it, and I will make sure that every undecided independent I talk to hears about the horror stories.  Guess what, it changes their minds.  I got commitments from several wavering voters today once I told them about what was happening in my area and why I was inspired to act.

Thank goodness no one has ever done anything to an Obama sign or in total fairness you would have to campaign for him. But of course, nothing has ever happened to an Obama sign.

    That doesn’t even make sense.

I’ve been campaigning for McCain since August. I’m noting how much harder I will campaign for him thanks to this vandalism.

And guess what? No one has done anything like that to ANY Obama signs in our neighborhood and along the roads where we have seen the damage. All of the Obama signs have been respected. (Partially because they are so hard to find here.)

This is why my McCain/Palin sign is in the trunk of my car instead of planted in my Chicago lawn.

I live too far away from my guns to get away with that kind of provocation.

I did get a chuckle seeing signs for my IL State Rep, who happens to be running unopposed (as is my State Senator) in citizen’s yards.

Good for you bitter! We won’t roll over and just let Obama and the liberal illuminati take a win without a fight!
