Headlines Guaranteed to Make Me Hit Delete

March23

File this away as a mistake from Food & Wine who decided to get a little political with their recipe email: Eat Like Michelle Obama.

No, thank you. I’m sorry, my hometown is a place without a Whole Foods and no arugula in sight. Though I could drive 15 miles to the nearest one, I think I’ll choose to stay at the lowbrow Giant that the Obama’s would likely hate. (I know they must hate it since I choose not to shop at Whole Foods instead of just being stuck without one like those dirty Iowa farmers. Remember the “anybody gone into Whole Foods lately and see what they charge for arugula?” ‘identify with the people’ moment in a state with no Whole Foods?)

So, alas, Food & Wine’s email just went into the trash bin.

OFF TOPIC  but related – I am quite unable to fathom the stupidity of the latest fad diet from California –
    *The Primal diet*
“Ideally, it’ll have been sitting around for three or four weeks and be really off. Some people like it when it’s liquid mush but I prefer it really off, but still so you can stick a fork in it.”
