What’s a Cook to Do When no one can Taste?
Not much has changed since my last post. I’m feeling much better, just a left over cough & asthma issues, but now Sebastian is sick. He can’t smell and he cannot taste much. I’ve been relying on basics like Italian-flavored baked chicken & boxed pastas. While this would be a great time to try some new recipes he may not normally like, he wants to actually taste them. Damn.
Instead, my limited doses of creativity are being expressed by way of making my own Christmas ornaments. This year I am going to make a more serious stab at a real ATF Christmas tree. We have lots of gun ornaments and, surprisingly, alcohol-themed ornaments that I didn’t have to make. But cigarettes are another story. Well, any kind of tobacco products. So I’m making my own cigarette-themed ornaments. Yes, cigarette-themed ornaments.
I’m painting little vintage cigarette package ornaments. I’ll update with photos after the first few “first drafts” are done to my liking.
No obviously related posts.

Vintage ciggie packs? I tried to find the advert for “Lucky Strike Green Goes To War” but without success. I did find an illustration showing before-and-after, though –
